Look
what Peter brought me from our garden. Our first striped beetroot.
This
beetroot is called Bietola da Orto ... Tonda di
Chiaggio
It reminds me of Christmas and
Easter. Jesus's blood washed our sins away to have a white heart !
The bloody Baboons had a festive
Christmas lunch in our home while we went to have lunch at the Diaz Beach Hotel
where Sinè and Terri were on duty. Just look what awaited us when we came
home at 16h00.
A mixed grill of: Poo and pee,
fruit buns, rusks, Panetonne, fruit, veggies, plants, flour chips, and you name
it !!!
O no ... Peter's veggie garden has been totally
destroyed ... all the different kinds of cabbages, cauliflowers, beets,
pumpkins, potatoes, marrows, corn, jam squashes and
melons ... gone. The chicken coup wire fence torn open (thank God the chickens
and little baby chick is ok). IT must have been a troop of baboons and not just
the lonely outcast one that usually visit us. What a disappointment it is to
Peter who really is into his gardening! Ai jaai jaai !
